<Entre Deux>

Le Corbusier's engravings series <Entre Deux> comprise of his daily observations and the corresponding images. This work is a reinterpretation of 「l'Éveil de l'Asie」. It comprise of elements such as stone fetish, copper warrior, and an old water buffalo, composed methodically in a geometric prism. Water buffaloes are commonly seen in India, and do not possess the aggression of bulls. It rests calmly with its knees bent.
