Lea

This surrealist work portrays a large tree in front of a house with a guitar on a table, while oyster shells and bones hover out of the door. The title “Lea” is believed to come from a novel The Last of Chéri by Colette. A very similar work depicts a woman standing in front of a darkened door, but in this case, she is represented by a shell. This house is believed to belong to Vidal family, the one Le Corbusier often visited on his vacation to the Arcachon Peninsula. The case being that oysters are the local specialty of the region.
