Composition

A unicorn with woman's body rests its wings behind an opened door. With a small boat placed to the left of the opening, it suggests that this composition is a motif from Stéphane Mallarmé's poetry. In Mallarmé's work, a "wing" refers to a "fan," however, Le Corbusier used this element as the actual wings of his character. Three bulls are stacked to the right of the frame in a humorous manner.
